Booking Terms & Conditions

1. The Travel Contract

These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all reservations made with Roam Australia & Beyond. By paying a deposit or finalizing a booking through our digital portal, concierge desk, or an authorized ATAS-accredited travel advisor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Reservations, Deposits & Final Payment

• Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour price per person is required at the time of reservation to secure your place on the departure.
• Balance Settlement: Full settlement of the remaining balance is required no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date. For reservations made within 60 days of departure, full payment is due immediately upon confirmation.
• Late Payments: Failure to settle balances by the due date may result in automated cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the initial deposit.

3. Strictly Capped Small-Group Guarantee (Max 14 Guests)

To preserve our signature unhurried intimacy and seamless logistics, every escorted departure operates with a maximum of 14 adult travellers (plus your professional Journey Director and local specialists). Under no circumstances will groups be consolidated onto oversized coach transport or expanded beyond this threshold.

4. Definite Guaranteed Departures

Departures marked with the "Guaranteed 2026 Departure" indicator operate unconditionally once the minimum guest operational threshold (typically 4 travellers) has been verified. In the rare event that an unconfirmed departure does not meet threshold 60 days prior, guests are offered a 100% full refund or alternative departure dates with a complimentary tier upgrade.

5. Mandatory Comprehensive Travel Insurance

Due to the vast and remote geographies transversed on Australian expeditions, comprehensive domestic or international travel insurance covering emergency medical evacuation, trip interruption, luggage loss, and accidental injury is strictly mandatory for all travellers joining multi-day itineraries.
