1. Policy Commitment
This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and confirms Roam Australia’s unwavering stance against all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, servitude, and child exploitation across our global supply chain and operations.
2. Fair Work & Ethical Employment
- All Tour Directors, expedition guides, logistics drivers, and operations personnel employed or contracted by Roam Australia receive wages exceeding statutory Fair Work Australia Modern Awards and enterprise living wage standards.
- We champion reasonable working hours, mandated rest intervals between multi-day driving shifts, and comprehensive workplace health and safety protections.
3. Supply Chain Due Diligence
We require all hospitality providers, boutique vineyard estates, charter aviation operators, and transfer suppliers to execute our Supplier Ethical Code of Conduct prior to contractual onboarding. Periodic audits evaluate employment practices, safety equipment maintenance, and environmental compliance.
